When developing the new brand identity, colour palette and logo for Sweet Lilac, it was important to retain the traditional feel of the brand, which had been established for a number of years. A refresh but not a re-invention of logo, font, colour and pattern was therefore decided upon.
A simple colour palette of lilacs, accented with pink, was the perfect choice for this brand who specialise in paper flowers and other high-quality crafting supplies. It was important to include graphic elements, such as the flower and butterfly as a nod to the old branding to aid with consistency for the user.
This store sells thousands of products and so helping the user to quickly and easily navigate the website was to be key to the success of the project. Advanced search filters were constructed, alongside an innovative menu with product imagery in order to make the shopping experience simple and enjoyable for the user.
By helping the brand expand its use of social media and other online revenue sources, such as Etsy, Ebay Instagram and Amazon, they have also been able to reach additional customers and expand their revenue proposition.
